You’re Not Alone — And You’re Not the Only One Asking

Recently, something happened at our booth at the Fire Service Mental Wellness and Suicide Prevention Symposium that stopped us in our tracks.

Someone walked up, paused for a moment, and said:

“I don’t usually talk about this stuff. But I feel like I can here.”

That quiet sentence — full of courage, full of weight — is exactly why we built the First Responders Resilience Network (FRRN).

We didn’t create this to be a program or a product.

We created it to be a place — for firefighters and first responders to be human, to connect, to heal, and to lead from lived experience.

This is our first official newsletter and blog post. And it won’t be the last.

We’ll be sharing:

• Stories from the field (like yours)

• Tools and micro-practices that work on shift

• Insights from leaders who are rewriting the culture of wellness in the fire service

Because we believe:

• You’re not broken — you’re carrying too much alone.

• Peer support isn’t optional anymore.

• Connection can be the beginning of change.

Whether you spoke to us last week, subscribed recently, or were referred by someone who’s been there — welcome. You’re part of something bigger now.

Coming soon:

We’re hosting a free webinar with FRRN founder Tim Tharp:
